• Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your name, work email address, organization, and use case.
• API Usage Data: We log metadata about API requests, including request counts, character count or audio duration processed, model types used (ASR, MT, TTS), latency, and response status codes.
• Audio and Text Inputs: Depending on your account tier, audio files or text inputs sent to our endpoints may be processed transiently or logged for debugging purposes.

3. How We Use Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the AyaSpeech API.
• To manage your account, issue API keys, and monitor usage limits and quotas.
• To track billing metrics (for Premium and Custom enterprise tiers).
• To monitor platform stability, detect system errors, and optimize inference performance.
• To comply with regulatory obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Data Storage and Retention

We value your data sovereignty. Information is stored securely using industry-standard access controls:

• Usage Logs: For Free tier users, transactional usage logs are automatically expired monthly via database TTL settings. For Premium tiers, history is retained for billing and historical analytics.
• Audio/Text Retention: Audio data sent for inference is processed in-memory and immediately discarded unless you explicitly opt-in to logging for custom model training.

5. Security Standards

AyaSpeech employs comprehensive organizational and technical security measures. Our databases and processing queues are protected by firewall systems, secure VPC networks, and SSL/TLS encryption in transit. We align with industry standards including GDPR and SOC II compliance.
